Gay open the doors to Navigator Development Group Inc. 1998 • Consultant agreement with SY Technology, Inc., to identify most viable opportunities to support Army programs 1999 • Conducted Technical Study of Aviation Logistics Support at the U.S. Army Aviation and Missile Command (AMCOM). • Conducted Utility Helicopter Fleet Modernization Analysis. • Al Patterson and Keith Gay buy the historic Rawls hotel, which serves as Navigator’s headquarters. 2000 • Member of Team Boeing in Phase I of the Army's Future Combat Systems (FCS). • Study on Air Traffic Control Modernization / Re-capitalization Recommendation for Army air fields in Germany. 2001 • Produce a virtual training Web site for the flight contractor for Initial Entry Rotary Wing (IERW) Flight School at Fort Rucker, Ala. • Awarded contract to support development of the Army Aviation Corridor of Excellence (AACE) - through Tennessee, Alabama and Florida. 2002 • Army Air Traffic (ATC) Control New Equipment Training Support. 2003 • Part of Boeing-SAIC teams to move the Army's FCS program into the System Development and Demonstration (SDD) phase. • Navigator’s senior vice president, retired Lt. Gen. Dan Petrosky, joined MSNBC as a military analyst during Operation Iraqi Freedom. • Navigator wins a contract to develop and run a virtual survey on contract support at Maxwell Air Force Base, Ala. 2004 • Navigator spins off Navigator International to expand it's global base. • Navigator International wins two contracts to supply building materials for U.S. embassies in Africa. • Contract to support Boeing/SAIC FCS Lead System Integrator (LSI) Scenario and Wargaming IPT to address changes to the Army’s FCS program. • Navigator wins first prime contract within the Business and Analytical Domain for the U.S. Army Aviation and Missile Command (AMCOM) Expedited Professional Engineering Support Services (EXPRESS) in Huntsville, Ala. 2005 • Support to Task Force Modularity: Gulf of Guinea Nations Air Control Capability Roadmap. • Army Fixed Wing Fleet Requirements Analysis (RA) to determine the operational and force structure requirements. • Spins off NavTech LLC to support advanced visualization and interactive 3D modeling 2006 • Navigator was among the first recipients of the Governor’s Trade of Excellence Award. • Provides Combat Survivor Evader Locator (CSEL) field service representatives to deploy on site in support of Operation Enduring Freedom and Operation Iraqi Freedom. • Awarded as the prime contractor to support the Jordan International Police Training Center (JIPTC), US Department of State in Amman, Jordan • Awarded as the prime contractor for the Joint Unmanned Aircraft System (JUAS) Center of Excellence (COE) at Creech AFB in Nevada. • Awarded the Naval Special Warfare Command (NAVSPECWARCOM) Maritime Craft Training Study 2007 • Navigator named Alabama’s Disabled American Veteran Small Employer of the Year. • Navigator named the National Disabled American Veteran (DAV) Small Employer of the Year 2008 • First recipient of Boeing’s Diversity Advocacy Roundtable Team (DART) Achievement Award for 2008. Navigator is honored in the service disabled veteran-owned small business category. • Prime contractor to provide integrated supply specialists on the Mine Resistant Ambush Protected (MRAP) program in Iraq. 2009 • Awarded a two-year firm-fixed price contract to provide 10 positions to the U.S. Army Unmanned Aircraft Systems Center of Excellence (UAS CoE) at Fort Rucker.
