The United States Army Space and Missile Defense Command / Army Forces Strategic Command (USASMDC/ARSTRAT) awarded a five year, $450 million Scientific, Engineering and Technical Assistance (SETA) contract, in support of Space and Missile Defense Initiatives Support III (SMDIS III), to SGIS of San Diego, Calif., along with its subcontractors. Among the subcontractors on this contract is Navigator Development Group Inc., a service disabled veteran-owned business headquartered in Enterprise. Under this contract, SGIS and its subcontractors will provide scientific, engineering and technical assistance support for space, missile defense, Global Strike, information operations, Homeland Security and for command, control, communications, computers, intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance. Various organizations supported under this contract include USASMDC/ARSTRAT, United States "Navigator is honored to be a part of a great team with SGIS as the prime contractor," said Navigator President Keith Gay.
