Navigator adds another slot to TCM UAS contract
Navigator picked up an additional slot on the recompete of the TRADOC Capability (TCM) Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS) contract.
Navigator is a subcontractor to SAIC on the awarded contract. The base contract has two 12-month option years. The period of performance began Dec. 27, 2016.
The contract focuses on support required to assist the U.S. Army Aviation Center of Excellence (USAACE) Capability Development and Integration Directorate (CDID) in the conduct of capabilities development and integration of unmanned aircraft systems.
According to the statement of work, Navigator will provide two people to support the USAACE CDID and TCM UAS for the integration and synchronization of the Doctrine, Organization, Training, Materiel, Leader Development, Personnel and facilities (DOTMLPF) domains for Army UAS.
The support will include planning and development of plans that support the Department of Defense Joint Capability Integration and Development System (JCIDS) requirements development processes and documentation.
Navigator’s subject matter experts will provide the operational experience and knowledge, to support the development of UAS experiments, testing, and DOTLMPF analysis.
This includes development of operational methodologies that support the warfighter functions, and translated into requirements documentation as well as materiel development work statements to reduce acquisition time, costs and technical risks.
