Location:  Fort Sill, Oklahoma
Position: Full time / Contingent upon contract award.
Security Clearance: Secret

Duties: Capture and document user required capabilities and capability gaps for input into Initial ICD, CDD, CPD and/or other required JCIDS documents as required to support future THAAD efforts.  Provide input for future THAAD performance and requirements related documents.  Review, analyze, and provide subject THAAD matter expertise across the DOTMLPF domains. Monitor and submit recommendations on behalf of current and emerging requirements/technology for concept development of future THAAD capability. Develop/update associated TTPs and review applicable Air Defense Artillery/Fires manuals with the DOTD and FCOE staff to ensure the latest capability/configuration updates are prepared for inclusion in relevant manuals and doctrine. Support the development of proposed future concepts and studies for THAAD and support tests, VAL/VERs and experiments involving the system. Coordinate and staff potential system development/ improvements with materiel developers, operational units, other CDID directorates/ COE’s, Test Officers, HQDA Staff, and DOD Staff to ensure THAAD meets user requirements and provides needed capabilities for future force structures.

• SECRET clearance
• Bachelor’s Degree and at least five (5) years’ cumulative operational or program experience in THAAD or an Associates’ Degree with ten (10) years’ cumulative operational or program experience in THAAD or twenty (20) years’ cumulative operational or program experience in Air and Missile Defense Operations shall be acceptable in lieu of a degree
• Experience in the development, review and staffing Air Defense related documents and publications
• Ability to effectively communicate conceptual ideas in writing and orally articulate thoughts to support the development of  Army and Fires concepts, doctrine and tactics, and TTPs

Desired: Graduate of the Common Faculty Development Program – Instructor Course or Army Basic Instructor Course, and Support Cadre Training Course
