As the president of the company, Jim Moentmann is responsible for corporate strategy and oversight of company business development and financial operations. He is focused on the growth of the company as a whole. Moentmann has executive leadership experience in corporate profit/loss management, business development, project management, strategic planning, concept development, market analysis, joint air-ground integration, military aviation training, and joint doctrine. He joined Navigator in 2015.
A retired colonel with 28 years of military service in the U.S. Army, he commanded tactical aviation units from platoon to brigade and served in a number of high level positions in the United States, overseas and deployed combat locations. Moentmann, who served 28 years in the Army, holds Masters Degrees in Economic Geography from the University of North Carolina and in Strategic Studies from the U.S. Army War College. His Bachelor of Science Degree in Aerospace Engineering is from the United States Military Academy at West Point.
